The 702 Trekking and City Comfort Grip features a well thought-out shape with a large supporting wing and outer elevation for hand protection. The 702 is perfect for a comfortable trekking or city bike. The 702-grip’s extra-large wing supports the wrist. Pressure is comfortably and evenly distributed, thanks to a very large surface area. The raised end of the grip nestles against the side of the hand, while the inside is slightly elevated to match the natural position of the hand. The Format is our first single clamp grip for those who like to make use of the full width of their bars, allowing you to run your hands right up to the edge. We had found some single clamp grips suffer from additional twisting, which is why we designed the sleeve to snugly fit the bars towards the ends. After examining wear patterns of grips that have been through the ringer, we implemented several different patterns and zones into the format to deal with the different dynamics going on in each part of your hand.

Our initial partnership with Aaron Gwin produced numerous innovations that pushed grip technology to new levels. With the new AG2 Grips, we wanted to take things even further. Ergon's GA2 All-Mountain / Gravity grip has superb tactile feel thanks to a super-soft, UV stable rubber compound exclusively developed and manufactured in Germany for Ergon.
